I have the same wireless built in card Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG and I have windows 7 Ultimate x86.
The good news are I was accessing this forum initially through cable-LAN until I went on Intel s download support webpage and downloaded the Windows Vista drivers: Confirm Download Operating Systems lang eng
I then used the Device Manager under Computer Management to manually update the unknown network adapter drivers by pointing it to the vista w32 folder I had just downloaded from the above webpage. and voilá. I ve just disconnected the LAN-cable and I m accessing the internet wirelessly.
